If the multilingual GUI (graphical user interface) ever needs an update you can download it for free from our support site. Put it on a USB flash drive (supplied with the DVR) and then follow the menu driven instructions to upgrade your DVR.
The Nubix 16RT Real Time Security DVR can record on all 16 channels simultaneously at 30ips (real time) in CIF mode. Half D1 and D1 resolution modes are also available. Picture quality settings are adjustable per camera and allow fine tuning of several different quality and image parameters.

First, you can use a PC and commonly available browsers (Windows IE included). While the product does have a specific CMS program for camera management services, you don't need it to view your cameras. Any PC anywhere can be used. Of course if you have the CMS client software installed you get more functionality, but you may still view attached CCTV cameras and perform basic functions without it.
